| In the package, the U-Command Wall-E looks great, and for the MSRP it's a grood deal too. However, there are a couple of design issues that can seriously detract from the play value of this toy. The worst is that Wall-E is very unstable, which means that unless you are running him on a perfectly flat, smooth surface with absolutely no obstructions around him, he'll spend most of his time on his back like a flailing turtle. This is true even on very short pile commercial carpeting. Also, you should know that since this uses an infrared remote control, the R/C features generally only work if you're pointing the control directly at the U-Command Wall-E. Most kids will not expect or understand this limitation, which may lead to frustration during play.I still think it's one of the best Wall-E toys made, simply because it offers so many features for the price. And, with a little creative inginuity, you can solve the instibility problem but attaching a small stabilizer to Wall-E's back that will prevent him from falling over while he is dancing, turning, reversing direction, or contending with an obstruction in his path. Once you've overcome that issue, this is will almost certainly become one of your favorite Wall-E toys. |

| I bought Wall-e yesterday from toys r us and my 3 1/2 year old loves it. I must admit, I love wall-e too. The enteraction is good (though it just seems to reposond to noise in general). The voice is authentic to the movie which is great. The one thing I was a bit disapointed with was that he did not roll on his own. Especially since he darted around in the movie so fast. Like other reviews, he is a little loud but not unbearable. Price wise I feel it is comparable with any other inteaction toy. [..] |

| I bought two of these Toys for last Christmas for my 9 year old and 7 year old sons. It was really cool at first when we transformed it into car mode, but it kept falling apart in the middle section of the car. Seemed very delicate! I was not to thrilled with this. Once we transformed it into Robot mode we were even more dissatisfied for it did not work properly. The wings did not move correctly, nor did the arms. They were trying to move, but the parts inside were missing a connection with each other so it only made continuous clicking sounds. The only things that did work properly were the sounds and lights.Transforming from car mode to robot mode was actually quite easy for we know there was a website on transformers.com that showed you step by step transforming for the toy in video made, so we could play and pause as we went. My 7 year old son was able to transform it.Unfortunately we purchased the toys off of Ebay since they were sold out and impossible to find anywhere else. What a huge mistake that was. The seller would not allow us to return them because they were opened. It did not matter that they were defective. Warning to all - Do not buy expensive items off Ebay!!!So, 240.00 later, we have two toys that never worked that sit in the corner collecting dust. Waste of Money! |

| I am writing this review on behalf of my 9-1/2 year old son who simply loves Transformers. After saving up enough of his allowance money, he insisted on getting this particular Autobot Transformer.He felt that the transformation from the Camaro concept car to Autobot was a piece of cake. The transformation back to Camaro concept car, however, was a different story.The instructions were no help since they only showed how to transform from the car to Autobot (i.e. no reverse instructions). He eventually figured it out, and can now do it in about 3-5 minutes, but it was no walk in the park. After reading the other reviews, we definitely feel your pain. But don't lose hope. It can be done!! Once you've accomplished it, you feel like you can climb Mt. Everest. It's a real confidence builder, especially for young boys (and some old ones too). Below is some helpful advice:1) The toy is built to be handled roughly (within reason), so don't be afraid to twist (by hand), push, and pull the various parts of the toy.2) From Autobot mode, my son believes that the toy is easier to convert back to a car if you separate the top of the Autobot (torso up) from the bottom of the Autobot (pelvis down). Simply, pull them apart. The front of the car is definitely more challenging than the back, but after a while you'll get the hang of it.3) If all else fails, go to www.youtube.com and type "Bumblebee Transformers, concept car". I thought of this after the fact, but this might be helpful to a few people out there who are at their wits' end. A couple of the videos are pretty informative and take you through the transformation process (step by step). Parents may want to preview the videos before their kids do. Some of the videos are more age appropriate than others.Could our good friends at Hasbro have made the process easier (i.e. include a good set of reverse instructions)? You bet!! However, the challenge for my son was a lesson in patience, determination, and ultimately conquest. He didn't give up, even after dear old dad called it quits. I was proud of him.LS |

| As the review before said, this DC Direct Joker really does blow the Movie Masters Joker out of the water. Very Detailed figure, especially the face which has a close resemblance to Heath Ledger. It has the shirt, tie, vest, jacket, and over coat all made of very nice material which are all nicely sewn. Comes with really neat accessories as well, 3 pairs of gloves, 3 different knifes, 3 different cards, a hand gun with a removable clip, and a clown mask, also comes with a stand. Ive seen the Hot Toys Joker and I must say for the price this Joker is much better, same goes for the Movie Masters Joker, I mean come on people are paying over a hundred dollars for the movie masters joker and I was able to get this DC Direct Joker for 74.99 and the value of these figures doesn't even compare. IMO the Movie Masters Joker doesn't really look all the much like joker in the movie well it is definitely better then any of the other 6 inch joker figures that they are putting out, and I would love to pick one up if it wasnt for the price but the DC Direct Joker gives you everything for your money. I cant recommend this figure more, if your interested in a toy figure of the Joker from the Dark Knight film pick this one up, you will not be disappointed. |
